Wilson College in Chambersburg, Pa., concludes its World Travel Film and Dinner Series on March 31 with "Hidden Jerusalem," presented by documentary filmmaker Dave Banks. See the iconic images of Jerusalem, including one of the most photographed buildings on earth - the Dome of the Rock, including rarely seen footage of its interior shrine. Sat., April 10 is free admission day at Belle Grove Plantation in Middletown, Va. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the historic Manor House will be open, with guides available to answer any questions. The Museum Shop will be open, and visitors can explore the outbuildings and historic landscape with sweeping mountain views.

Redbud Weekend is April 16 through 18 at Cacapon Resort State Park in West Virginia?This time of year the Redbud trees abound, and the roadsides and town of Berkeley Springs are brimming with the pinkish-purple hue of this flowering tree. Sponsored by the Morgan County Ecology Coalition, events and activities occur throughout the area, and include wildflower walks and spring talks at Cacapon. Seven West Virginia homes will be open to visitors for the 55th Annual House & Garden Tour sponsored by the Shenandoah-Potomac Garden Council of Berkeley and Jefferson Counties, April 24 and 25. Advance tickets are $15 and, $5 for children 12 and under. Tickets on the day of tour are $20 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. The Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival kicks off with the Bloomin' Wine Fest in Old Town Winchester on April 23 and 24. Wine, food, music, and artisans will line the downtown pedestrian mall. Keepsake wine glass and tastings. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the gate, with two-day tickets available. Children under 12 are free. Proper ID is required. For the 17th year, Berkeley Springs hosts the annual Uniquely West Virginia wine and food festival on Sat., April 24, 10 a.m. to 5p.m. Admission is free and the show offers dozens of state-grown products, including more than 50 vintages from ten wineries to sample and buy. At the Old Factory Antique Mall.

In Shepherdstown, W.Va., the second annual Chocolate & Wine Tasting and Art Show will occur May 1, to benefit the Children's Treehouse Child Development Center. At the historic Entler Hotel, from noon to 4 p.m., the event coincides with Shepherdstown's May Day parade. A $10 donation is requested.

In downtown Hagerstown, free movies are shown every other Saturday night at 7 p.m. at the Colonial Theater, owned by the Bridge of Life Church. Movies are shown on a big projection screen with surround sound in this historic theater. Soda and popcorn are free, too. For more information, call 301-791-1674.
